Traveling

so after 3 flights, some booze and 22 hours of traveling we made it to Sicily. We had one delay in Rome but all is well. im typing on some crazy euro keyboard so bare with me. Londons airport is really nice because they just added a new terminal which we were in.

here are some sweeping generalizations about brits based on my only experience with them. veyr nice people, clean airport, and people who wouldnt expect to have a british accent but do are really cool and a lot more attractive. i get really stomach sick after the flight which was due to the free booze and lack of sleep, so we got a beer in airport. got a nice pint of stella for over 6 dollars. another fun fact is that scab ultimate has now had a disc thrown in london. rimjob and i threw for about 10 mins at one of the gates displaying our impressive disc skills to brits. also we ran into some kids from santa cruz who live with frisbee kids so we chatted them up. small word, eh. i have very little access to proper puncutation so i would have put a question mark there.

so when i was in london i starting feeling really homesick and what not and starting missing certain people a lot, but then i got to italy and that went away. italian women are beautiful, almost all of them. they are almost as good looking as the ladies from the PNW. another thing about italians is that they know how to dress. there was one person in sandals and maybe 3 in tshirts. i was wearing shorts and sandals the whole time. everyone was wearing pants and collared shirts, literally everyone. also, pastel colored pants are really in but i couldnt display my true colors due the limited amount of clothing i brought. so basically we really stuck out. so jay and i did the most heterosexual thing we could think of and shared some gellato. we also found a spot in the airport to throw for a little bit, you know just trying to make scabultimate global. we had a lovely 4 hour layover in Rome which was complimented nicely by a 1.5 hour delay. we got to sicily and they lost our bags. in reality they were just in a different part of the baggage claim that we did not know about. you would think the international section of the airport would be traveler friendly but i guess not.

so apparently the palermo airport is not in palermo. so we take one of the crazier taxi rides our lives to the hotel. jays dad told us the taxi should be around 50 euros. our driver had a magical fare calculator that could grow exponentially. when we arrived the thing said it should be around 80 euros. jay got him down to 55 euro by offering to pay 70, no idea how it works it just did. so we get to the room around 1 am the next day and hit the hay. elevator technology has not yet reached this hotel and so its about as big a swig stall. thats all for now cuz i cant stand this keyboard anymore.

I'm also going to have to say, since this blog is called "Ultimate Travels", and you already have two posts that could be homonyms for ultimate and traveling, that you should try and keep that up. It'll be hard, but you're a smart kid. If you were already doing that, then bravo for being smarter than I am.

Wow, an eye for fashion and sharing a gellato. I hope your hetero self makes a cameo at some point.
